I might be assisting a friend sometime over the weekend to strip a ralliart kit off of their TJ and replace with standard bumpers. What i need to know is how much of a big job is this? Is it something simple that will take a couple hours to unscrew/re-screw or will it be an all day job?

any help from someone who has done this before would be appriciated :)

I replaced the stock bumpers and skirts on my TH with a Ralliart kit - didn't take to long. Got it done in a few hours - can do it even faster now coz I know where all the screws are lol

you should have it done in a day easy. just make sure you have undone all the screws/bolts before you yank it off. also depending what sort of rear muffler you have you might need to release it to get to the right hand rear bar reo bolts. thats about the only pain in the **** bit the rest is pretty basic, if you look around you will find all the bolts/screws.

more to the point, why are you getting rid of the kit and does he want to sell it?

step 1 - park car in Northbridge on a friday night
step 2 - leave car for a while
step 3 - return to find no body kit.

nb: effects of this plan may vary dependant on a large amount of factors. Sivaraxxx takes no responsibility for any kind of loss which may be;
-wheels
-windows
-petrol
or the whole car itself

Alternative to above solution is a simple drive through Dapto. Any stops made at traffic lights will result in car being put on bricks.
