when my car was up on the hoist while it was being checked out for upgrading the sway bars, i was told my lower control arm bushes were nearly buggered and would need changing.


now, can anyone recommend an aftermarket brand or do i get the genuine mitsu part? and how much is this going to cost?

the car is a KH verada.

get a second opinion first!
I was told once by a mechanic that my front and rear brake pads were 90% worn, believing him i went out and bought new ones and fitted them only to discover that they were about 50% worn! Mechanics will do anything to get a buck out of you, only trust them as far as you can throw them.
Now do you know this guy well? or was it just some place you went to?

hes not a mechanic as such but the head guy at a prominent tuning house - i have been going there for about 10 years - and i trust them - they did all the on my silvia too.
