When i bought m car it had aready been broken into once before, and it still doesnt have a lock on the boot, and seeing as how ive just put my sub and amp in there i tihnk its about time i get it fixed.Ideas:
1. Im thinking of just getting it shaved, but the leaver in the front wont open it so ill have to get that fixed aswell...
2. Or goto a wreckers and get a lock from there.. (but does that mean ill have 2 different keys..
Any suggestions will be muchly appreciated... :D

Check the latch itself, there is a remote boot latch switch on there, flick it to the opposite position and it should open.
Definitely shave the bootlid :)
If you change the lock, you can get one from a wreckers, however you'll need the matching key.

Just like the 'Subaru' logo breaks up the 'monotonous colour' of the WRX boot... :doubt:
Kill it with fire.

buy a lock mechanism and cable from the wrecker
take the lock to the locksmith .have it rekeyed to your original

He means that the boot lid looks 'bland' without the lock there, I beg to differ, but what would I know, I'm just a doctor.

nah nah, by all means, take it off. just i don't like it when it aint there, too...i dunno, vast space...u noe.
i think the subaru badge does break the colour on the wrx boot...then again, my personal opinion which may be different to yours.
