Hi guys... tried searching for the problem i had on my electric window but there was none that encountered this... ok... all my windows work fine except for the driver's side windows... the window is able to go down everytime... but when it is time for it to come up... it would be depending on my luck... maybe the 1st try maybe the 10th try... as i am driving a TL there is only one switch for both the front windows... gonna try cleaning the connection but i am unable to lift the centre console up... the front cup holders are hindering it... looked at the workshop manual and it shows that i need to remove the cup holders in order to remove the centre console... but the thing it no matter how i try the cup holders just wont seem to come off... another method i tried is the try to remove the windows control console from the centre console... but its like stuck as well... have anyone tried this?

mine did this and i needed to replace the switch. the centre came out fairly easily on mine. it's just got 2 locating pins at the front. cup holders only come out from the bottom

there is 2 clips around the gear stick that you pop out that might help get to it

I have a 2000Tj, and my rear windows are fine, but front to go up slowly, and up even slower, especially the passanger side, It makes me angry when im in a rush. What could be the problem, and how would i fix it????

but for them it was a situation whereby its slow... its like u telling us that your engine seem to be slow and it not start at all is a totally different problem right??:D

TL/TW Magnas had problems with the power window switches, they would fall apart.
Removing the centre section should be easy, just lift the centre console lid, and pull the trim upwards. The cup holder is held in by screws underneath the trim, and won't affect it when being lifted!

They are slow because the winding pulley is chewed up so the wire is getting crossed over in the grooves and causing drag. Cheers.
