Getting new tyres tomorrow - 245/45 x 17 on my standard 17in VRX rims. Just curious to know if anyone else has 245's fitted and had any problem with them rubbing on suspension or body. A mate of mine sent me the National specs for light vehicles and apparently you can not go less than 26mm in diameter (245/45 is 16mm smaller), but you can go up to 30% wider than the tyre specifed on the car. Than means technicaly I could fit 275's!!!!!

Took photos yesterday from the front and back, to see how much difference they make.

Im running 245/40 R18's on the rear at the moment...looks hot...they were too fat to put on the front though, so im running 235/40 R18's on there... :doubt:

Git the tyres fitted. No problem with the width. Plenty off room left, and looks so much better than the standard 215/55.
