Hi all, may be a seemingly simple question to those in the know ; Many of us have seen the TR Elite, TS si, KR xi, and KS ei & xi that come fitted with the dual chrome exhaust tips from the factory?

Basically, I know that the chrome tip itself is fastened onto the muffler with 2 bolts, that can be undone easily, to remove the chrome tips for cleaning and some heavy polishing after many years of dirt. However, there is a sort of bracket that clamps onto the exhaust outlet itself.

Does anyone know if those brackets just slide out (slide is a relative word considering how rusty they are), or are they welded onto the exhaust outlet?

They are welded on, you need to grind then of or use a hack saw.

Just use some autosol metal polish on a rag mate they'll come up a treat
