hey guys...

I have a 2003 TJ and I'm looking for the speed sensor wire that's accessible in the dash.

I've looked through the circuit and configuration diagrams from the Workshop Manual and it's a White/Blue wire that goes into B-110A which *should* be located between the glove box and the console, but I can't find that harness. everything else I've looked for I've found, but this harness is escaping me.

see attachments... first one is the dash config with B-110, the second is the circuit diag with the speed sensor in the red box.

any help would be appreciated!!!

cheers,

It's just a plug that goes into the ecu, under the centre dash area.
Pull away carpet and remove steel panel on passenger side footwell area, to gain access to the white wire, with a blue stripe. You hooking up satnav?

Whatdo you need this wire for anyway..?? There could be another way around it..:)

so it's not accessible through the console area? cool... I'll play around with the carpet tonight.

yes, satnav. my avn6610 went in on the weekend, but I couldn't find the speed sensor wire, so it's bitching about not getting a speed signal.

What sort of satnav did you get? I have one which calculates car speed using GPS signals
and it is within 1km/hr difference with the speedo.

it's an eclipse avn6610. it uses both GPS signal and speed sensor signal. apparently it's more accurate with both, but it will be interesting to see if Mitsu have built an error into the speedo or if the signal is the same, as my speedo always reads about 5% off.
