ok guys and girls, i have a TH sports, 3.5 ltr V6, and she is maken a horrible noice on strart up, it last until engine is fully warmed up. i can hear something turning over, doesnt sound good, and dont say its the engine turning over as per usual, its hard to describe, as well as that there is a random clicking noice when its cold as well. i wish i could give u a better description. it sounds like one of the belts not turning properly, but i got the driving belt changed the other day, and a few days later bang t started, so would this be my problem. iv spoken to a few ppl and they sed nah, cant be cos u just got a new one.
ok iv done some searching and may have come up with a result for the taping noice but i need help with the other noice, any ideas.
thank u for ur patience

Hydraulic lifters mister 2nd gen :P.
I would say it could be your lifters too, try topping it up with some thicker oil and seeing if it makes any difference.
I don't know if having noisy lifters makes any difference to the engine, my dad drove his TF for 75k kms with noisy lifters and he had never had a problem. Eventually got them replaced because they were pretty darn loud :).
