save you putting the bolts in every time.... get some quick release brackets or some ultra heavy duty magnets....

i put magnets on mine in between each hinge and it works an absolute treat...

also if you get some aloy wire with loops on the end, fix it from the boot to the arm.. it saves your boot swinging over its balance point and smashing your back window....
you can just pop it and it does all the work itself.....
your boot will look like a transformer.. lol :bowrofl:

my boot is a bit different to your cause i've got a second gen, your sits nice and flush against the brackets (the front of the boot) where mine sits about 20cm away, so i need to make a bracket up or something

nope shes just a hell load of metal....

the hinges are bloody strong...
i bought 100MM long hinges....and flush self tapper screws on to either side... they dont lay flush tho... so try and use counter sunk self tappers.... but i strongly recomend you pre drill it.... tappers dont always go in straight and it throws your boot off skew.....causeing it to close arkward and not locking.....i made that mistake last night.....but easily fixed it......

here champ.. this is how i finished mine. i screwed the clips and the wire on last night.

clips were about 6 bucks each and you put them in either side.. save you to keep undoing the bolts and stuff...

the wire i got made up for about 4 bucks....

just to give you a general idea....

this work perfect...

eventually when if find the right 1 i want to replace the wire with a Gas Boot Arm

good luck with it
