hi guys looking into getting another car so was looking at an FTO... anyway the car has an engine problem... it makes a sound when its driven over 100KM/h or above like 2500rpm...
was wondering what problem is it and how much to repair them... i personally think its the tuppets or the piston valves... what do u guys think and how much for the repairs...
Thanks...

Mate its pretty hard to E-diagnose a porblem when you just describe it as a "sound"
Whats it sound like?

piston valves?? Never heard that one before.
On a serious note. Take it to a workshop so they can have a quick look they should be able to diagnose the problem pretty quick if its tappets. Careful it may be something more sinister. Just get a pro to check it to get the proper diagnosis.

RACV full inspection FTW!!! I know they cost about $100, but it could save you thousands in the long run. :D
I rekon it's the exhaust...
My car makes a noice when i turn the ignition to 'start', sounds like a motor starting but i'm not sure..
I had to replace the "tuppets" in my car a little while ago, man is that expensive! I'm dreading for the little man that turns my radio's lights on and off to die, man will that kill the bank account! little men are expensive these days, especially now they're so popular eg. "Me, myself and Irene", "Jackass" etc..
