After driving and stopping the car for a few minutes when i go to restart the car the car wont start and i can smell fuel. After disconecting the fuel pump the car started. It is injected and i was thinking the injectors may be blocked. Any ideas?

Would'nt it pumping too much fuel into the engine?(injectors open too long?)

Leaking injector.

Get the fuel system pressure tested, and if after turning off the car the pressure drops, it is possible there is either a leak, or in your case, a jammed injector which would be filling the cylinder with fuel. It doesn't take much for a leaky injector in a fuel injected car to cause a problem, as the fuel system runs at very high pressure. A single minuscule leak in an injector could flood the engine in minutes!

I think it was dirty injectors. Took them out and sprayed with carby cleaner then reinstalled. Starts straight away now and runs a lot smoother.

Take 'em out and get them ultrasonically cleaned if Carby Cleaner helped. It'll be like new, almost!
