Does anyone know if the Stock splits in the verada have some internal crossover anywhere. I'm hoping to be lazy and use the stock wiring ...

They use a crap capacitor on the tweeter like a cheap co-axial set. Look under / near the tweeter to find it. It will only be HP @ 6db/oct so you are best to dump it:D

I bought some Pioneer Splits TSC-1653 for $37! Alpine tweeter though but all good .. I connected the woofer directly to existing wires and there is definately no crossover. I guess the same wires for the tweeters serve the factory 4 inches in the magna. The factory AWA 15w woofer has served me well i know its hard to believe!

Install was easy and i mounted the tweeters on the front door pillar for a change. Sounds great :) Some dodgy phone pics of my weekend job

Very nice!! I mounted my tweeters on my kick panels angled toward head height, sounds fantastic :D
