Hi Guys,
Picked it up on Tuesday for 10.5 grands, put it on tranny service on Friday. There were some rattles/tappets from the Engine when warmed up, so drained the old Mitsi crap and put in Motul 4100 and Nulon worn Engine treatment, did that 3000 rpm 30 sec cycles for 6 times, improved significantly since then, hardly can hear any noise with bonnet locked in. With the bonnet open can hear the lifters working!!!:D
Amazed by the fuel economy. Drove it around the city with stop signals at every 4/5 minutes. Getting around 9.6 lt/100kms. Very happy indeed for such a big engine.

I will drive it around for sometime before converting and putting it on LPG. Also planning to tint the glass and upgrade the seats with leather ones (looking for cheap options :D ).
One good thing about the car is the previous owner (since new) was a granpa of around 70 yrs of age, so no mark of abuse and it comes with no tow bar (tranny was not put on extra load). Apparently the car is in very good condition and idles very nice for a TJ. Had it checked by RAC and Mitsu Dealer, not a single prob identified. Cars in WA are more expensive than east.
Now its time to play lol

This is exactly the same as mine, apart from the number plates, you couldn't tell it apart, 'cept I've got 220,000 on mine.
Keep the services up to it, and you will have years of trouble free motoring, these are a very solid and reliable car!!

You know I expected quite the opposite considering the smaller market over there!! But I suppose it's a small market too.
$10.5k seems pretty good for one with only 67k! I would have liked less, but even with 112k (7yrs mind you) I couldn't pass up the $7500 I got it for ;)
You got a good colour though!
