With your mods, what's the go with the advancing timing? From what I understand there's only two ways of acheiving this. An aftermarket or piggyback chip to do it electronically or using degereed cams like Booya. What have you done? And yes you said avgas and not NOS. Is it safe to run in an regular engine?

Still, AVGAS with no major engine mods really proves this guy has no idea. (well does have an idea on how to wreck his car but thats about it)

yer,

the only way i know of advacning the timing, (mind you to do it properly) is
a) degree the cams like me
b) as above but also engine needs to be told that youve advanced it. use of mainly a full aftermarket ecu - as piggyback still utilizes the factory ecu, im not sure if the greddy or any aftermarket can adjust the timing :S
c) cams alter the timing without the ECU knowing.. but then again, im sure anything above stage 1 cams needs a piggy/full aftermarket ECU.
