At some stage i am looking to put some 17/18" wheels on and am after some names, prices of thick spoke wheels. I don't want anything that has thin spokes or blades. Plus do you think black, machined or normal silver for a 2003 TL. Also no chrome!
Cheers you blokes.

black looks nice on silver, as Skippy has demonstrated here:

I bought these nearly new 18's off an AMC member for $500 with wheelnuts, then got some 235/40 Nankang NSII and all up I spent only $1085 for a big lift in looks!
They are a fairly common (I guess you'd call em thick spoke) wheel, but I like the tidy, near stock look the car now has - plus no sideways looks from the boyz in blue
Sorry not sure of the name, but pretty sure they came from Bob Janes.

Saab-33,
I'd definately consider buying Cocopopz rims, They would suit a black car perfectly.

cheers... They are koya Kahn's made from a good quality alloy not like these csa and Rodney Jane wheels. I would recommend anyone to buy koya's they are a little more expensive than other rims but you do get what you paid for. csa are prone to going ceramic that is when the alloy goes soft and lets air pass through it. Rodney Jane wheels are very soft and buckle very easy and made from cheaper material to keep costs down and when you destroy one you usually go and buy another one and they make more money. I used to work for Bob Jane and sell all of these. there are lots of other little things that make cheap rims cheap just go sit a Rodney Jane wheel next to a Simmons wheel and it all will make sense.
