This Green machine is wanting a make over :evil:
Nothing too serious yet, but air filter,chip and exhaust system would be a good start.
Lowering a definate, needs to corner with me at the wheel.
New wheels a must but havent seen any magna's on the road that have inspired me.
:idea: Need advice guys 'n' gals. Hit me with your knowledge.
Cheers

I reckon a nice set of 17" or 18" ROH Fury's as many people on here have.. or maybe even a set of 17" VR-X rims would be nice.. Lowered on SuperLow Lovell's with Monroe GT-Gas Shocks with a Strut Brace and some nice rubber!

Exhaust - Lukey Straight Through Muffler
Air Filter - There's a K&N Panel Filter buy going on at the moment and we need ONE more person.

With that setup it should be perfect!

SuFz :badgrin:

ROH Fury's means nothing to me, but will suss'em out?
I want to do this right the 1st time.
K&N Pod filter bulk buy, Sign me Up if it's a genuine saving. Let me know how to do this as i am very GREEN to this site and am still learning to navigate.

C'mon peeps, tell me how to do this machine up to enable me to give the Common'Dores a run.!

Well, Mitsiman, maybe a heavily modifed Magna v a stock Skyline but not a heavily modified Skyline.

Point taken though :lol:

what would a stock skyline run the 1/4 in?

what about a "heavly" modified 1/4?

power outputs approx?

Forget it, you're still way too slow :p

A well modified Skyline does will in excess of 500rwhp.

A stock Nissan R34 GT-R does the quarter in 13.2@111mph (http://www.syclone.freeserve.co.uk/rivals_cars.htm)

When I say "in excess of 500rwhp" I do include anything 600 and above ;) which is quite common.

Put that same cash into my AWD magna and I will have just as quick a car.

But I won't be able to prove that until later in the year unfortunatly.

Twin Turbo AWD would be very interesting, id still rather a GTR 34 though, they do cost a shitload more anyway

You tell 'em dude!

Lets kick some.

how is that project going? On paper only still I suppose.

Are you guys driving it around? Having any troubles with the guards rubbing?

The rear LSD looks a little small to take too many horses but I suppose you can replace most bits with EVO parts. :)

So are you guys gonna get rid of that tight rear extractor piping or are we cuursed with that forever?

The AWD project won't start for another couple of months - when we plan on selling the current Turbo magna and then moving onto the new AWD model.

Yes the plan work includes manafacturing a manuel conversion kit again from a lancer EVO, lsd and other goodies.

The new race headers will not have that sme twist to the pipes no.

teh gtr is the best !
that's all i can say ! not a single car manufacturer had so much success in a single line of performance cars!
includes the 180sz,200sx and skylines!!!

i dont think anyone can go past a heavily modded gtr!

Throw enough money at any car and you'll get it to perform...... :roll:

The GTR is a fantastic package from the factory, and an awesome weapon when Modified ;)

Unfortunately 4WD bores me :shock: , FWD sucks big time when putting big HP thru it, RWD may not be the quickest, but who cares its the most fun ;)

Heck my old R31 RB30ET will have just over 400rwHP, for an all up cost of well under $7000 ;)

Cheers for the comments peeps, although you all seemed to get a lil'side tracked on to be GTO or not to be GTO but i'm guessing that happens a lot in here.

All info taken on board.
The un-veiling one day you may see.

BTW, aSyLum - Congrats on the machine. Looks ****in Fab.!

I dont know really about a heavily modified skyline, you adelaide guys might know of the R32 and R33 GT-R's that have best times of 9.38 and 9.45. Not that exciting considering the amount of $$$ to buy the car then the tens of thousands to do them up. However these are street legal :shock:

Hmmm a magna running high 10's i would like to see, just to say that magna's arent just family cars like the shyt i get put on me all the time.

There's a local R32 pushing low 8s and I have seen some scary Skylines scream down Main North Rd. like a bat out of hell. I love GTRs and I concider them prolly the best of Japan. I WOULD LOVE to see a few Of our aussie/jap Magnas scream down Main North as well. When my warranty and car payments are done I'm seriously concidering Turbo... or posibly a jet engine! :lol:

Seriously the Magna is the best fam 4 door I've seen here in Oz and North America It's just A shame they were never really pushed into the high performance stream. we gotta do that part! ;)

Alight! Another GREEN Magna! And a TJ too :D

This is what I've done / plan doing to my green machine...
* Stereo
* Phone Kit
* Lowered Springs
* Lukey Exhaust
* K&N Panel Filter

and plan to...
* Strut Tower Brace
* Rear Sway Bar
* Upgrade shocks(?)
* Auto Trans cooler
* Extractors (probably RPW Race)
* Fuel Pressure Regulator
* Chip - Unichip
* Mags

Would've done a lot more already if it wasn't cause of $$$ insurance. eh small price to pay for seeing commo's get raped.

BTW, You should come on the Brisbane Cruise this Sunday!
