Hi all

I'm looking at getting new rims and tyres for my 2000 model vr-x. Just wondering if anyone has seen some great looking quality wheels around that they think would suit. Mainly looking at 18-19" hyper black / shadow chrome rims + tyres to suit.

Also, if anyone knows what the maximum wheel offest is for this car, it would be great if you could let me know.

Thanks

Hey there, welcome to A//MC.

make sure to post your ride in the 3rd gen section:)

On to more on topic things, PM andrewd to see if he still has his 20's for sale. they look AWESEOME on a 3rd gen, and are legal aswell! if you get a set of 20's for the same price you can get 18's, go for 20's.:P

Cheers,
-Ian

Thanks Ian, i'll be sure to do that.

I agree, those rims look incredible. I didn't think there were any legal sets of 20"s floating around for a decent price but you may have just proved me wrong.

i'm not sure of the colour of the wheels though, since my car is a red/bronze colour I was thinking i'd go a darker rim.

Thanks for your help though!

The Elenors would suit perfectly, as they have the gloss shadow in them. All you'd need to do then was lower it, and leave it. nothing major, the VRX is a gorgeous car as it is.

Get someone to photoshop them for you:)

P.S- Also, that's almost the same colour that the VRX rims came (the fine five spoke ones). They suited most of the colours.

you need tyred with a 96 load rating... my tyres are 95load rated most 20" tyres are 87-91 load rated..

max legal rim width is 8"
