I'm thinking about installing an amp under the front passenger seat and have two questions -
1. How does the tray come out?
2. For those of you with an amp under there, will that provide adequate ventilation?

That's were my amp lives and I've never had a problem with it over heating or anything like that

likewise no problem's at all, the tray only comes forward about 15cms anyway.

I have an amp under both seats and my tray is still in there.
Never over heated my amps yet either.

Easiest way to remove tray:
Remove seat (4 nuts)
Sit seat on its back, remove plastic tray. (pull it forwards really hard, itll click out)
Youll see 2 metal brackets with 2 screws in them, remove the screws and the brackets come off.
Put seat back and put the nuts back on.

Great, thanks for the advice guys. I might even mount it directly in the tray itself, but it's good to know that either way that there should be no problems.

why do u have to remove the seat...i just took my tray out. i've got a carputer under the seat now no probs. if i remember right the manual said how to take it out. if your sitting in the seat..you pull it outwards while pulling it up
