I hate turning my heater on cause it lets out this god awful smell. Are there any filters i could change or replace that would stop this? any suggestions? thanks

you could have a coolant leak, this happened to me! check all ur pipes etc...

Believe it of not the musty smell coming from the AC is a fungus. Just as a temporary fix turn the HVAC to fresh, fan on 4 and spray some Glen 20 into the vent intake near where the wipers bolt to the car.

This may take a few times to get the smell completely out. I have done this a few times and it has worked well enough but i believe there are actual products on the market that are designed to get rid of this smell completely. Suss out a car airconditioner repair place for some more info.

always thought there was a filter under the glove box i could replace but thanks for the information ill try it out
