i currently have a stock rear bar on my MAGgot...

i want a new 1...

i got VR-x skirts and a Talon front lip Extension
also have 2 twin tips stickin out the end of it and they just dont look right...


were can i find a rear bar.... is there a site with photos? or do i have to get 1 made?..

and how much am i looking at..?

hmmm different, well there's the bunbury motorsports kit (if it's still being made), OR if you're lucky you might find some sports rear pods.
Otherwise full custom will be the only way to go.

Getting your rear bar smoothed out (so there's no line) and getting the sports rear pods looks really good, try looking up some pics of "s_tim_ulates" car, he has done it.

This (http://74.53.174.34/~carmate/product_details.php?productid=MITMAG96JNRC&p_id=7815) bar would look heaps nice with dualies, although its the one from car mate, and ive heard very bad things about the quality of the car mate kits. also dont think it would go great with the skirts you got at the moment.

I beg you to reconsider, the Ralliart or VRX rear bar isn't that common at all! Trust me, look at Asylum's car, he's got dualies and a custom moulded rear bar (ralliart or VR-X I can't remember for the life of me). Ego has something along those lines too I think...

lol VRX and ralliart bars are common dude. aslyum has ralliart rear with custom moulding for the dualies and EGO has VRX rear with dualies moulded.

you need a rear bar that blends in with the side skirts and flows to the front. the talon lip and VRX skirts are rounded so you cant put a ralliart rear on coz that will looks silly with VRX skirts and you will need flares.

only thing you could do is go with VRX rear (i wanted to do this when i had the car and have the middle section between the two tips on the rear bar extention painted matt black) or you can get sports wagon rear pods.

Bunbury rear bar looks teh sex but he dosnt make em anymore so that sucks so cant really do much with the rear.

or you can get a TL boot lid and tail lights and get TL VRX rear bar. that will also look hot and get another hole moulded for the the dualies and have single 3" tips on either side.

OK.......ive checked a few sites and i found a really good 1 with heaps of magnas on it....
but there is nothing i like... everything looks WAY TO RICE.....

i want something pretty much exatly the same as the the new holden VE rear bar... how it has black frame work in it.... if u get what i mean... i think it would look awsome on a magna..

hmm...YAY only if the front had black that went to the bottom also. As in, you picture has the matt black looking as though it's going to the underneath of the car, whereas the front doesn't. If you painted the bottom of it white, it might suit the front better IMO

yeah thats what i plan on doing..... im gonna head to the wreckers and buy a stock rear bar...and also hopefully some 1 trashes a VE commodor soon..... so i can get that rear bar from the wreckers too...... start on my own custom PATCH UP lol....uncle is a plastic engineer so i may have some help....
if it doesnt work out the way i wanted... ill just go with your suggestion...

If I were you, I'd get a VRX rear bar - gonna be heaps cheaper than the custom work needed to get a VE one made up.

I'd also ditch the talon lip and get a VRX front while your at - the VRX kit is so hot, especially in white (see JasonsVRX :drool: )

Would still be much easier to get another cut out done for the VRX rear than to get a custom VE bar made up. Good to see thats what you want to do though - exhaust tips look so crap when they are just mounted below the rear bar, instead of having a cut out

i still want to eventualy try and make the VE rear bar myself.....i wouldnt hurt trying on a EL chepo from the wreckers... well it doesnt have to be a VE rear bar.. i just like breaking the car up a bit...having all 1 colour looks sick but also including a bit of exterior hardware looks awsome....

and yeah i did mean ASYLUMS rig.. after all its is magna club.. and there are alot of sick cars on here....
