Anyone had any experience with ECB rotors?

They are supposed to be very good quality... the problem is they only make front rotors for Magnas... not the rear.

So, what would be better...

EBC Rotors on the fronts and stock standard in the rear, or DBA rotors on all 4's? I've been told the rear doesnt matter that much because the front does most of the braking.

These would be the sports rotors btw (slotted)

As per our discussion on MSN, I'd go EBC's at the front and leave the rears stock.

Go the EBC if you can get them at a good price, ABS do them, give ABS in Glenorchy a go.

i was also considering doing that kim. ebc slotted and dimpled on the front (mine are stuffed now so i figured if i have to change them i might aswell go all out) and standards on the back. one thought i had though was transplanting the front setup to the back. could you just change the rotors or would you have to change the calipers aswell and how hard would it be? anyone??

Different diameter, I thought about that too. but it won't work, your hand brake is drum, your front discs have no room.. It may work on 1st gen as their handbrake uses the calipers . But even then you'll need to buy another caliper. And besides, that is not good, because you'll offset your brake bias too much to the rear and you'll end up locking your rears all the time.... don't do it... just get Big ass chunky front rotors and leave the rears stock, it's more than enough to handle what you throw at it.

My DBA rotors (slotted) with Bendix advance pads work well, it is gives out a lot of black dust though, not so nice on the looks but i clean it often.

Oh it start squealing as well but it stopped since i get it a thoroughly clean up and greesed. I think the squeal was coming from the huge amount of brake pad dust collected in the slots and possibly had some other dust in there as well.

anyways, I think slotted is enough. all up to what you can afford i suppose. Does anyone know the price for ebc slotted and dimpled?

the dba slotted cost me $113 each. so the front cost me $226, installed it myself.
