I am looking at upgrading my system and want to add 1 only 10" Sub to maximise space in the boot and will make a box to suit. What brand of 10" sub should i be going for under $200

The usual Pioneer 10 inch subs have a bit of punch under $200 but good luck finding a great 10 inch sub by any manufacturer for that price.

You should be able to pick up a MTX Audio 7500 10" (T751044) for a about $300 give or take $30. id go for one of them if you didnt want to spend too much.

i would say wait a month or so and try out the new range of jaycar subs... from what i have read on MEA the guy who is testing them is quiet happy with the quality

DO you mind 2nd hand stuff? Log onto caraudioaustralia for all your cheap car audio needs...

ha...yeah, seriously...worth a visit. OTher than that..usual stuff like JL, MTX, Pioneer should serve your needs.

I say get a DD 9910 :P and a Z2

would a small 10" cheap sub in a small box even be noticeable when you are on the road with all the tyrenoise vibration etc...??

why not just get something you can whip out in 30sec when you need the space

Are they releasing a new range of speakers too? or just the subs. I'm getting a new system very soon and don't want to buy and install it 3 hours before the new system comes out!

There are so many 12inch subs that only require a 1cuft box sealed... that's like a backpack. That little bit more extension ( at your price point ) will make a difference. :D
