Where the bottom of the front windscreen meets the plastic that sits under the wipers there is a narrow (about 6mm) rubber strip on my TJ.
Unfortunately this strip is perished for most of its length and Mitsubishi don't' sell this rubber strip.I have noticed many other Magnas have the same problem.
Any suggestions welcome.

My brother's KE suffered from this. He ran a bead of Sikaflex over it; looks good and doesn't leak.

they sell it as a complete part with the plastic bit, and its only like 15 per side so its worth replacing.

Have the same problem with both Magnas.
Siliconed up where the rubber was perished as i was leaking when it rained and no longer have a leaking problem. As already stated Mitsu want $20 per side to replace garnish and its another $20 to replace the screw type things that hold it to the firewall. You cannot get any of these screws anywhere except genuine.
