hi all

I think i found an oil leak on my TJ and i think its the camshaft seal or something like that its a little oval thing that has 2 bolts its directly beside the thermostate looking thing were the front radiator pipe ends just below the right side of the front rocket cover. Can anyone help cause i dont know what its called. And if it can leak there or not.?

undo the rocker cover seal the area with permatex black pvc

that round thing looks like metal so should only be the rocker cover gasket

It's just a blanking plate, back of the right side head. There is an "O" ring there which will cause leaks when it's aged!
To remove it easily, you will need to cut half the head off the 12mm bolt which causes interference when undone. Attempt it, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
The "O" ring is cheap, $5 or so genuine.
When refitting, replace the "cut" 12mm bolt with a shorter one.

Ha yeah the top bolt will not undew. Wat will i have to do to get it out need help.?

Just use a hacksaw blade, dremel type tool or air saw to cut the bolt head in half! Other than that, remove all the plumbing, which is a pain in the ass!
