has anyone seen a new Alpine deck that has a 16 gig hdd in it so you can store obviously 16 gig worth of mp3's in it its worth about $2500. i reckon even though its expensinve that would be a worthwhile investment. has anyone else seen this, what do you think of it

I played with one for a review I did a few months ago. The deck is the HDA-5460 and it retails for $2399 (we start Magna forum customers at $2000)...

They're not a bad deck and to be honest I would suggest we all get used to them as I think they will become the norm in most cars soon. :)

Not bad $2000. was it user friendly easy to use. My mate said pioneer have a similiar one which isnt as good.

I personally don't like using them much but remember I only get limited time to play with them (usually a week or two)...

I suspect that once you were used to the controls you would have no issues at all in operation. :)

yeah i was looking at the pioneer one just it's worth a lot more like nearly double the price maybe correct me if i'm wrong but if the alpine is less then $2500 that's not bad at all especially if you think the alpine is better
