This might sound a bit stupid, but im gunna ask it anyway....
With the VRX front bar extensions, i know you need to have at least a TH bar. But when you attach the VRX bits, do they sit over the top of the bottom of the standard bar? Or do you cut the old bar in half, the attach it?
Im finally going to get a kit for my car, but just wanna see if i should buy a new TH/J bar or find an old crappy one.

Im not sure exactly but im pretty sure the lower section of the bar is removed whether cut or unbolted stumps me.

hmmm, thats odd, if you cut the bottom of the bumper off, that would make it the same as a TF bumper with bottom off. Strange things haha, i think ill buy the kit, then worry about fitting it haha.
Thanks for the quick response.

the vrx extensions just sit over the lower section of the original bar. there is no cutting needed, just some holes drilled in the bar to screw through to the front spoiler.

so nothing is taken off eh? makes it even easyer then.
I was under the impression that the lower of the bar was removed at the break line.
Cool cool.

Nope, just plug and play so to say, no modifications necessary.

You will need to make two holes on the side of the car as there is a notch on the kit that needs to sit inside those holes.
u can either make a hole in the stock bumper, or u can file down those notches on the kit.

Hey guys, i have a few more questions about the VRX Kit...
1. Has anyone ever bought a kit from the guy on ebay from Stacey's Bridge?
2. It looks as though his kit doesnt come with the little insert bits where the fog lights are. Will it look stupid if i put my fog lights there without them?
3. I have noticed on a few other members cars there is like a little cap part on the side skirts behind the front wheel. Should these come with the kit? or are they already attached to the side skirt?
4. How much should i be expecting to pay for the kit to be painted?, will be the TH bar getting done too.
5. The kit is $650 + $45 postage, + $110 for the bumper ($805). But if i have to buy the end cap things and the inserts the kits will start to become a whole lot more expensive.
Thanks guys, i know someone here will be able to help me.

I got my kit from this guy, he is a very good bloke.
I got it for the same price as you, and it included all the little bits (end caps and fog inserts)
so u would be getting them as well i assume
the whole kit painted will cost u around $350 ish.
I can refer you to the people who did mine, great guys, top quality job have not had a single chip as yet.
As for finding someone to put the kit on, you might have some trouble. not alot of ppl know how to do it. but there are some company's that have done it before
i did mine myself so i didnt run into that problem..
