Have this annoying ticking sound from the LH & RH front wheels
of my TJ.
Happens more when turning but still there when driving straight.
Had both cv shafts replaced and its still there.
Need help.

I was going to say CV joints - but you had them replaced.
Does it do it all the time? or just once in a while?

The one thing that don't make sense, is when I get a scew driver and push the
rotor guard back it stops for a day or two then comes back.
Had the wheel of and can't see anywhere it's hitting, no marks.

When I had the cv shafts replaced it stopped for about 8 days, now
it's back.

If the wheels have hubcaps, remove them, and see if the noise is still there!

what about your wheel bearings?? checked those at all? see if there is any movement side to side...? just a shot in the dark

If you have aftermarket wheels sometimes the wheel weights hit the strut. It sounds like a ticking when you go slow???? It may not be but it's possible

Had the same problem with my TS, tapped the rotor guard away from the wheel with a mallet and that stopped it, (tap it all the way round to increase the distance between guard and rotor)I think it's the rotor guard hitting the rotor, happened more often and louder on corners or bumps.

it could be a wheel weight hitting something, it could be a stone in your tyres, it could be a noisey wheel bearing

I just checked mine, and bent my disc guard away, and the noise stopped.
