This last month i was able to do couple things to my car. new hd xtreme clutch 20's new altenator new battery. all ways going well when my gear box made a real loud clanking noise sound like a metal bat got caught in it. Good news ive learnt that new hd clutch and heavy 20's dont go good with a stock 200,000klm manual gearbox. now i have to fork out 1000 for a rebuild and labour.:cry:

well got the verdict to day plantary gear so my diff is going and some sort of bearing in the gearbox. so not looking good money wise

wear did you take yoru car to have it checked over?

i dont think its the clutch or the wheels

there are plently of ppl rolling on 20s and that have HD clutch its more the way you drive, and its just the weaks part of the GB

yeah i took it to nerang gearbox and diffs. yeah it is the way i drive with the wheels i had before the 18"s where ok to go with the way i drove now with the heavier wheels puts more strain therefore i must change my driving habbit lol. its all good now cars back workin better than ever. just scared to give it some gas now .

its ok to give them a hard time just dont abuse them.. ie flat changing etc.. you can be smooth and still drive a car hard :)

yeah sounds about right coz im still getting use to driving around with this new hd xtreme clutch. so ill get there.
