This has been happening randomly over the last few months. I'd be driving around and then all of a sudden the TCL OFF dash light starts blinking. If i push the TCL button it will stay lit, push it again and it keeps on blinking. I've driven plenty of times since I first noticed it and it only happens on random occasions.

Any clues to what may be causing it?

Flashing TCL mean the traction control is not working.

Has you or a mechanic taken off the throttle body recently? Cause if you dont put the vacuum lines back in the right position it can cause that to happen. If thats not the case just check the vacuum lines cause one or a few might be loose or have fallen out. Just push/put them back in.

Otherwise the Traction control has **** itself.

Thanks for that. Pretty sure it's just a loose/leaking vacuum line then because it only happens very rarely. Will go take a look now.

What has the vacuum hoses got to do with the TCL?? Seems to me like you don't know what you're talking about!
Get a dealer, or somebody competent to scan the system for fault codes!
There are 2 TPS' on models with TCL, I bet one is gone!
Other than that... when the wheels spin, you will get the light on!

:gtfo: WTF are you on about??? Have you ever taken off your throttle body??

When I bored out my TB you have to pull off all the rubber hoses (which control your TCL)

When I put it back in i didn't reconnect the hoses in the right position hence the TCL light flashing, so I took it down to Mitsubishi and they said 2 of the line where in the wrong position causing the TCL to not work. So they put them in the right place and it worked again.

Sounds like you know sweet **** all about the subject!!
