Hi All PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I have had a huge amount of stereo equipment put in my car recently including 3 amp, 2 huge subs in custom box and 3 TV’s, but no matter what we do we still get bad feedback. There is a constant buzzing (I know to not hear it turn it up,as people keep telling me which I do) and when you put your foot down it gets more intense with the more power under your foot. We have been to several places to find out why and no one seems to know why it is doing it just though I would see if anyone else has had this problem and if so could you please share how to get rid of it as it is driving me  .

altenator whine...

Move your rcas away from powerlines/electrical devices
Fix the grounds on your equipment (headunit should be grounded to the chassis, amps short and fat to the chassis make sure its sanded back to make good contact
Turn your gains down on your amp to lower your noise floor

Try that and see how you go

Otherwise its a process of elimination, unplug the rcas from the headunit. Noise? its in the rca lead or the amp, unplug. No noise its the headunit (grounding or faulty)

Unplug the rcas from the amp Noise? Its the amps check grounds
No noise its the headunit or the rca run.

etc etc

Usually RCAs will be the issue though

What Tim said, and if you've been to several car audio shops and no one has told you the above, you're going to the wrong places ;).

my speakers where doin that to ended being my deck because one of the rca's where the ones that dangle out to the rear of the deck and it struck metal and stuffed up all the rca's and got that buzzing noise

I had this problem aswel, Installed a line filter 100amp one for my amps and a 20amp one for the accessory going to the HU and remotes for amps and active crossover.
fixed the problem
was caused by the alternator, hense why you go faster it creates more sound,
the line filter correctly earths out and filters and hum and noise produced by the power system in the car

I use a pioneer DEH-P1Y Deck just for your information. Mcintosh 4x100 amplifier, crossfire 2ch monoblocked amp, audio control 6xs crossover, works well with the filters, never had a problem, dead silent sound when turned up and car is running at all revs!

NEVER use filters, they are just a quick fix to an easy to fix problem, do it properly!

Werd.

If a "Pro" installed that equipment for you did they check it before they gave it back?! I'd be asking for a refund on the price because that is crap work, I've installed my own stereo's and never had an issue with alternator whine or interference.
