Does anyone know if the aircon compressor from a 4 cyl TR is the same as from a V6 TS (ie. are they interchangable?)

Everyone seems to be following my trend of breaking their aircon! Good luck mate :)

Pretty sure the compressors are different, at least that's what the wrecker told me when I was looking for a compressor.
