Hey all
About 3 months ago I sold my 1990 GT4 Celica and bought a TE Magna. This was kind of a hard transition to go through for me but I got over it. I didn't know at the time that Magnas are actually pretty tough and really good to drive on the whole.
I've decided that my magna (that i've named douglas for some god unknown reason) could do with a bit more power and would like the knowledge of those who have already done a little bit of modding on their own if possible.
I'm looking at doing maybe headers and the K&N filter first but have no idea where to go or who to contact to get the ball rollin.
Thanks guys
Lucifer

How does it feel riding in Douglas?
Is it a tight fit?
What does it smell like inside?
:bowrofl:

It's a fair bit different to 4RCFED (my last car) and i'm not sure what it smells like yet. but me and the boys got hammered one night took the air filter out and started it and it certainly didn't sound like any other magna i've ever heard

Hey mate welcome to the forums, plenty of info floating around..
Some things to considor:
Internal:
K&N filter
High Flow TB
Barry's fuel rail kit/ earthing kit
Full exhaust upgrade, extractors, Muffler (cat-back exhaust) etc
Some cheap things if the car lacks service history:
Spark plugs
Spark plug leads
Dizzy Cap + rotor
Radiator cap + thermostat
If you have just received it, do/get a trans service done, its often neglected.
Coolant temp sender
O2 Sensor
External:
Suspension all round
Lowered
Rims + low-profiles
de-badge
body-kit
para's (not sure if your car has them already)
Better grill
Some others will also have some ideas, it really depends on your budget, but id do exhaust first with K&N and barrys kits. Then do the outside....
oh yeh and tinted windows if not already done...

Your 2 best performance options are:
1. Manual Gearbox fo you dont have one already
2. 3.5L engine
In that order.
The headers/exhaust/air filters etc are only small increases, but whack a 3.5L in her and youll be like phwooooar! OMG! My car actually has torque now.
