Hey all, love the Australian Magna site
Tho I have been looking around for a while for some information about interchangeable parts and couldn’t find any infomation. So I decided to start a new thread.
I have a TF Magna Solara and the Big question is
1- Would a TJ or TL boot and rear lights fit on the TF
2- Also would it be possible to change over to a TL or TW interior including dash, front and rear seats and electric windows.
Thank you

1. For the TJ lights you NEED the TJ boot aswell, and for the TW/TL lights you need the boot and rear bumper.
2. I cant see why not, but it is more than just the cover, its also the air con control unit is different.

TL/TW is the same chassis.. so if you really wanted to you could even bolt on the front end of a TL/TW.. good no;s how much stuff under the bonnet youd have to change.. it wouldnt be worth it.. but it is possible

so its possible to bolt on the TW/TL lights, boot and rear bumper without making any mods to the body or having to make any brackets?

The boot, bumper, rear bar and lights will bolt straight on.From TL on everything forward of the firewall is different though, all the sheetmetal, inner and outer, radiator support, etc.have a look in a TL engine bay and there is less room because the big headlamps cut into the engine bay.TL on Magnas all had electric windows and the switches were moved to the center console. All previous Magnas had them in the armrests. If you want all the electric goodies it will be easier and probably cheaper to save up and buy a car with all those options.
The seats in a TL have built in side airbags so your opening a can of worms when you play with that stuff. It could be done but you wold need to do a wiring loom change plus a whole lot more.Too much trouble.Hope this all made sense.

Sorry but you don't NEED the TJ boot, have seen a few TE/F/H's with TJ taillights driving around with the TE/F/H style boot. Doesn't look that bad until you get up close and see the gap lol.
As someone else said, anything from the firewall back will fit A-OK.
