Right, I'm wiring up some extra driving lights, and need to tap into the high beam trigger.
On the passenger side (battery side) I unplugged the inner (high beam) socket and traced it to a white w/ red stripe wire.
But now the lights are able to be switched on with either low OR high beam... confused.
Anyone know which wire it should be?
And i'd like to tap in close to behind the globe, as this is where I have the wiring setup.
Thanks in advance.

Are you doing this the proper way using relays? Search the forum for driving light wiring
diagram. There should be plenty topics on it.

Yeah i sure am.
Using everything as described in the lightforce wiring diagram, but the only issue is the high beam trigger.
I don't think I could find anything on here that was related... Driving lights that I currently have are, from factory, able to be switched on with just the parkers - Verada.
These ones are big spotties... and legally only be turned on with the high beam circuit.

You can just hook up the relay across the high-beam terminals - don't have to worry about whether it is negative or positive switched then :)
You do also have to put a switch in series for isolation - but few people bother any more.

Hmmmm... I've wired it all up good.
The only issue is that it's coming on with low beam instead of high beam.
I sourced the wire from the back of the high beam globe, so I'm frigged if I know why it is coming on with low beam also. I even used a test light to double check.

Just to be sure, do what I did in my old KS and splice into the high beam wire just after
the high beam globe holder.
Also, all Oz cars are -ve/ground switched so if you splice into the power line then that
power line may also be supplying power to the low beams. So have the relay trigger hooked
up to the ground line coming out of the highbeam globe.

Vlad, I changed the wire from one to the other (just near the socket for the high beam globe), changed the loop in the wiring harness (as per instructions for negative switched system) and WE HAVE LIGHT!! - On high beam only :D
Woohoo!!
So, when are ya coming around for those beers mate? lol
