Newbie to the site, I've been on here quite a bit over the last few days reading through some of the tech torque threads.

I have a similar problem to Majordad, my 10/97 TF Magna has a chronic clutch slipping problem. Not being a wiz with cars myself, I need to take it to a mechanic to get it repaired...

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good mechanic in Canberra to fix the clutch and a possible oil leak on the head gasket.

I've talked a little with Perry (thanks again dude) about it, but he doesnt live in Canberra so yeah...

bars fix cars! no specialty in performance but they do a bloody good job and are haeps nice to deal with. they are people that wash and vacum your car before you get it back and leave a footmat in the footwell. oh and i forgot when you drop off you car they drive you to where you need to go! got me rear axel replaced there, were no more expensive if cheaper than everywhere else in canberra. ill give em my props:dancin:

1 way of fixing this, New head gasket - $500++++
