I'm trying to replace the 6x9s in my KH Verada Wagon. I've unclipped the carpeted section that sits over the lower part of the tailgate (covering the speakers) but it is still 'attached' to the plastic at the top which houses the brake lamp/wiper and I can't work out how to release it.
Anyone else done this job?

i couldnt figure it out, i removed as many pins as i could to bend the plastic back and work in a tight space
