Hehe, it's in my garage at the moment. Great job mate! VERY happy! Thanks a million. I'll try and get it painted in the next week, probably get a mobile paint repairs guy to come around and do it... they can fix up a few stone chips at the same time.
Looks great.
What work was done exactly, what capability do you have, and how much did it cost?
When I read the title I thought, oh god....someones gone and put a neon under their dash...clap clap :) but that is awesome!!!!

Sadly I haven't even done as minor a mod as a neon under the dash......so sad lol.
D-Van gave me the skirt, I moulded the shape from the right side, cut a hole in the left side, and remoulded the shape. The cost to D-Van was mates rates. Anyone else will be charged squillions lol.

Wet-rubbed it down on the weekend so its smooth as glass now, fitted it up and came up against the first problem... the second VRX muffler I have seems just a bit too big to fit on the passenger side, so I may need to go an aftermarket exhaust, which is a shame because 1) I wanted to keep it as OEM looking as possible 2) I wasted my $ buying that other VRX muffler 3) I now need to hope an exhaust shop will be able to find a muffler that sounds the same as the stock VRX one and find an identical tip, or else this little mod might be getting much more expensive than I had hoped. I'll be visiting Exhaust Technology, see what they can do. If they live up to their reputation they should be able to help me out.
Took MagnaByDesign a bit over a week to do, but I understand there was a bit of a problem getting the first mould off, so started from scratch again.

i had the same issue with my Ralliart bumper, have to use an offset muffler, but they should be able to weld the stock VRX tip onto that.... how much noise doesn't e VRX muffler make? surely there'd be a lukey/redback equivalent, luckily not all mufflers are for people that want loud cars :P

It took me 3 days to do it the first time and stuff it up completely, 1 day to put it back to where I started, then 2 days to do the job properly (ie how I should have done it the first time) Wasn't very difficult, ( helps if you have a trade background in the associated area)
Thats D-Vans dad holding the skirt. Yes I work at Mitsi's, in the design dept.

So, are you saying that you have now got a twin exhaust looking OEM on your Ralliart Magna? I have just purchased a Ralliart Magna and I am interested in doing the dual exhaust mod, but as already said I am trying to make it look as OEM as possible. So I would like to have the left exhaust cutout and tip look like a mirror of the right (original). Also the previous owner had a towbar installed so there is a cut out in the original bumper which I would like to get "fixed". Not sure why someone would put a towbar on a performance car.

sorry bout the late reply! just dug this thread up for a mate and seen the last post.
i bought a brand new Ralliart rear bumper to put on my TH, so i got the dual exhaust done before the bumper was painted and fitted. The guy that did it said it was a lot more work than he expected, as the Ralliart cut-out has some very odd angles (the outside edge is lower than the inner edge!) but it definitely was worth it in the end. Biggest problem is finding someone to do the work, as not many places like to deal with custom stuff, or like to charge squillions

Very Nice bumper. I you ever planning on changing cars or just the bumper, please keep me in mind for this bumper.
How did you go with the Exhaust. Were you able to fit a stock exhaust in? I heard that the stocks, for some reason, don't fit on the other side.

Biggest problem is finding someone to do the work, as not many places like to deal with custom stuff, or like to charge squillions...yeah the guy that did mine (Panel Shop Owner) said it was difficult to do. In the end the top part looks slightly more rounded than the stock side but I couldn't do better and I'm happy. :D
Now I've just gotta get an exhaust fitted to fill the hole. lol One day...:doubt:
Just realised that I don't have a flat rear shot of my car - will take one & post up later.
