Hey everyone, i don't really post on here that often any more, but I really need some technical insight/advice if possible !

anyway, i hopped in my car this afternoon and i noticed it smelt of fuel, since i had just put in some petrol i thought i may have spilt some "no biggie" and continued on my merry little way.

Then later tonight i noticed an even stronger fuel smell, so i reversed the car and discovered a small puddle of fuel underneath the engine( on the floor of carport)......wtf !?

Then i turned on the car and noticed at regular intervals it would make a little "psssht" noise (like someone letting air out of a tyre for .02 of second or something).

Does anyone know what could be causing this ? leaking fuel line ? aftermarket fuel reg? engine about to explode?

Also, if there is fuel leaking from around the engine, is it possible my car will catch on fire and cause me to die a tragic fiery death ?

Any suggestions on what i should do ?

all replies r appreciated !

Is it leaking from the engine bay somewhere or from underneath the car like near the tank?

It could just be that a hose is loose or damaged....otherwise...we may need some more explaination to know what else it could be...

Sounds like a fuel leak. Check it out ASAP you should be able to find it since its leaking that much. Dont drive it till you fix it. It can ignite.

I'm saying it's a cracked fuel line. Probably to the injectors. Check all the fuel lines and see what you can find.

Have a look with a flashlight and get it fixed by a PRO ASAP

Yeah it was a cracked fuel line, should only be about 5 bucks to replace, can't wait to be able to drive again without the fear of burning to death !
