Gooday, I have been searching for a very annoying rattle in the front suspension of our 2004 EL. I have tracked it to the RH front Disc assembly.

I had new tyres fitted to the front and the tyre dealer must not have tightened the wheel nuts up correctly which created the Rotor to Rattle.
What holds the DISC ROTOR to the hub.? IS it only the DISC CALIPER ASSEMBLY and the WHEEL NUTS? Don't seem right to me.
Cheers Brush.

lol Andrew, they didn't make EL falcons in 2004 so he does mean a TL.

Rotor is bolted to the hub by the wheel nuts (and has the caliper sitting over it, caliper is bolted to the hub), tighten them up and you should be right, you may have a bit of dirt or grit under the rotor though which is causing the rotor to not spin perfectly with the hub (vibration or clatter perhaps) so if in doubt take it back to your mechanic.

Yes Andrew on the AU's etc, that is I why I found the MAGNA odd.
Thanks Lucifer for that info ,no, I checked whether there was any grit in the pads and by tightening up the Caliper and wheel nuts correctly, all is well .
Thanks Guys.
