Seeing as I don't consider replacing the stock headunit with an MP3/CD player a mod, this is my first. Put some paras in today.
What should I do next? Suspension?

I think I need:
1 Lowering
2 Some alloys
3 Something to make the front indicators look better
4 Front lip
5 Colour code
6 More speakers
If I only manage 1 and 2 I'll be happy.
uve got the roof racks at the same places i had them on my old wagon... seeing urs reminds me of mine, i miss it
oh well.. parras always gives the 2nd gens a better look no matter if it has a diamante front or just a standard 2nd gen front
EDIT: forgot to say that its looking good! lol

Great timing, i was just about to ask for a pic of para lights with clear indicators. I got the orange ones, want clear, but wasnt too sure how the frosted indicators would go with the 'clear' paras. Seems to look pretty good though, but if you had a pic in better light with your lights off that would be awesome.
You say you want to do something to make your front indicator look better, what did you have in mind??? The only thing i can think of is getting rid of the orange kind of inside lens and getting clear front repeaters.

Paint your grille black/dark dark grey. Saw it on another second gen with parras and it looked mad.

Hmm, that looks good. Makes me want to find a verada grille and paint it the same colour.
I always liked that picture of your car btw because I have another wagon the same colour! (it's off to the wrecking yard soon though) Do you have any more pics of her? Side on?
Actually, what front bar is that?

lol unfortunately mine will be off there too... it was a series 2 diamante front bumper and the ks grille was actually black wen i bought it, unfortunately now its sitting behind the car warped without any hope of being fixed.. the only thing i could salvage from the front were the fog lamps and thats it- still drivable but no time to fix the damage so its off to magna heaven
i'll try and find more photos of it and post it here for u

A quick thing to try would be to paint the slats of the grille black, to give it more of an open look. Actually, there is a separator line (can't think of how to describe it) that you could mask from, so the slats and surrounding area is all coloured black, might give the grille a narrower look.
I had the same as Hojo's, black grille (actually dark metallic, probably stratos grey or there abouts), did a whole heap of mockups, and decided to do something different, making the slats chrome, which I felt fitted in with the colour style of the paras. Pics in the ride thread.
Orange vs clear, I think depends on the car colour. I decided mine looked better with the verada orange, and orange repeaters. I'd say in your case TR3000, either go the full orange replacement, ala BMW (would fit the green), or clear the front lenses and get clear repeaters. Put a little charcoal border around the inside of the lense to make it fit in better with the paras, if going clear (get hold of a hot air gun or hair dryer).

To separate the halves of the light?

Oh yeah, I'd probably go for tint before suspension. Makes a much bigger difference in the overall look of the car.
RE: heat, Yep, heat up around the seam of the blinker, and you can gradually pry it apart to get to the internals, and mod the lense. Clean it all up, heat the glue again, and it fits back together good as new.

Looking at it I see now how cool it would be if the whole front - headlights indicators and grille blended in with a consistent look. I have a spare set of indicators on the old car. Maybe I should investigate a way of making them like identical to the headlights...
