hey everyone

i have decided to change my gearbox oil, but don't know how haha

has anyone done this b4 ? is it possible to do by myself ?

or do i need a mechanic to do it ?

Grab yourself a manual from Repco for like $30.

Get your hands dirty and ave yourself some dosh :)

All major things like that are outlined in the service manuals.

I'm saving heaps of $$$ but NOT taking it to dealers or mechanics and learning a lot by servicing my car myself now.

start undoing bolts until red stuff starts coming out(taking that its an auto). wait till it stops. do up all the bolts and then poor a bottle of the same red stuff back down the dipstick hole.

Assuming its manual its a basic job. If you e-mail me bennny i can forward you so "notes" i did when doing a "mates" car which will tell you exactly how to do it...

My "mates" reckon my notes are as good as the ones from mitsubishi ;)

But yeah simple job and don't be affraid to do it yourself.
