RPW now has two brake upgrade packages for the magna / diamente vehicles.

(A) First package is to replace teh standard single piston caliper with a true EVO style twin piston caliper and brake hoses. Requires new brake pads - EBC shoudl be available in this size. Good for around a 25% min improvement in front brakes. Great to do with slotted front new rotors at the same time.

(B) Second package is to increase the front disc rotor from 276mm to 293mm with our larger rotor, twin caliper pistons and brake line kit. Not as expensive as people think. Option of new or 2nd hand rotors with the kits.

Prices start around $400.00 for the caliper / brake package or $750.00 for the larger rotor package.

These are complete bolt on kits. There are only currently 5 in total of the larger packages at this time but more can be obtained easily. The RPW twin Turbo magna will be the first to get this package.

ANyone interested contact RPW now for exact pricing and options. Feel free to ask more questions.

Another question.. i noticed that a few brake companies are producing up to six pot calipers for the triditional falcon/commodore range with rotors up to 330mm..

what are the chances of adapting that sort of technology onto a magna.. with say 6pot / 330mm (f) and say a 2pot / 290mm (r)

i would die to have that amount of serious hardware, and thats what id love to display on GBM at car shows.. huge mags with HUGE brake harware!!!

Please say this can happen! [-o<

All brake options can come with the ability to get new rotors with slotted / cross drilled on special order (Cross drilled not specifically recomended).

We can also do a Brembo 320mm Lancer brake upgrade no the car as well but to be honest a six pot twin caliper system is a little bit of an overkill on anything short of a race car.

I think you wuold find fitted with the larger 294mm rotor with a twin pot single caliper and EBC rotors would be more than enough.

what sort of pricing would you 'suggest' for a 320mm lancer brake kit.. would you still do a 4/6pot brake upgrade?

rembering my car will be totally all 'show' next year.

For a 320mm Brembo package that is around teh $4000.00 bracket
For a 330mmm aftermarket system single caliper twin pot around $2000.00
For a twin caliper twin pot system i guess around $3500.00

What are the exact specs on these?
example
- are they Xdrilled or Slotted any way?
- does the 4k price include just the front brakes or 'all round'
- using the brembo package, what would you recommend using for the rear brakes (if the package dont include rears)
- would that be 4k + fitting or total?
- availability of parts and is that a direct 'bolt on' or any formal modification needed??

:D:D Cheers Dave.

Hey Dave - just sent you an email!!

How hard is it to fit - can I purchase the system off of you and fit it myself - I cant see why not - or is there major modifcations involved??

With option A what do the calipers look like the ones on the evo? I have no idea what i am talking about so i hope its not a dumb question.. I just love the look of the evo Brembo calipers just wondering how i could get that on my magna.. How much would the first option cost with drilled or slotted roators? which is better for a TJ magna?

For specific questions on pricing etc guy's best to email / call me.

The brake calipers will look similiar to the brembo style but not exactly the same.

Yes they are easy to fit simply bolt / unbolt, replace a brake hose and then re bleed your brakes.

Best part is with these calipers we aer certain we can provide EBC Kevlar brakes for them which means decent brake pads for the front of our cars.

We can offer slotted rotors with the brake kits if you want to as well. They come standard in the larger rotor package as a normal vented disc.
