g'day ppls
i'm in the process of putting a TS V6 Exec on the road and have come across the issue of no keys
now i have gone out and bought a set of locks for it but hav to figure out how to get the ign lock out of the car
the car was dropped off at my place on a tilt tray and that's where it's sat for the last few months so any help would be appreciated

you'll have to take out the steering wheel, the indicators. and there should be some cables connecting in the collum, then there should be some screws i thinks. sorry if thats not enuf

the screws are in fact round head bolts so the only way to get em off are to use a pin punch and move em around like that
old ign is out and with any luck the car should make it's way into the garage tomorrow :D

You don't need to take the steering wheel off, just take the lower cover off and there should be a small hole under the ignition switch with a pin in it. All you do is push that pin in and the ignition barrel will come out there's no need to undo the bracket that holds the ignition switch to the steering column if you do you need to get a new bracket and special bolts.
I had to change the ignition lock on my TS and that worked for me, only takes about 15 minutes if that.
