Hi all...

How's this car for a replacement for the 380 whenever that comes around? It's going to debut at the Tokyo Motor show in October..

From "Motorauthority.com"

"The next show car is the Concept-ZT sedan, powered by a 2.2L clean-diesel engine mated to the new dual-clutch SST gearbox. The new diesel engine develops 140kW and maximum torque of 400 Nm. The goal of this concept was to showcase Mitsubishi’s new passive safety features such as the lane-drift warning system, all-around multi-monitors and parking sensors and a pop-up hood. The concept also features S-AWC and picks up a E-LSD (Electric control - Limited Slip Differential) borrowed from the Outlander"

It's not proposed as an official 380 replacement. I was wondering what people would think of it as a replacement if it ever was moted as such.

the shape and specs sound good. Theyr'e kidding themselves if they think they can make a family sedan look like the evoX. The front looks gay and needs work because its simply unattractive

Looks okay, very much like the new Honda Civic & Accord. As for being a 380 replacement, it wouldn't be too bad, but as others have said it would need some changes (as all concept car do if/when going to production).
I think the 2.2L engine is too small for this market though; it needs something over 3litres.
(Another observation: why is all concept cars have a great ride height? Look how snug this thing is sitting, yet if it went into production it'd have 6 inches of daylight in the wheel arches!)

Hello,

It now appears that the Concept-ZT has gone the way of the 380. This is another sad day for us. Read the link below for more info

Yep the larger car is dead! Looks like the US Galant will be canned too & replaced by the Lancer but still called Galant.
