I'm running 17" CSA Prowler Mags with 235/45 R17 KUMHO ECSTA 711 Rubber

Just wondering what the recommended tyre pressures would be front & rear?

Thanks.

i believe it should be 36 to 40 psi. check the rating on the side wall of your tyre.

I got my 17" Fury's a couple of weeks ago with the same tyre's and was told to run them around 36psi

Spoken to plenty of people and they said this is perfectly fine. But the ride quality dies a bit but its definatly more fun driving, you feel alot more of the road :D I also noticed acceleration is bettter especially when you doing plus 60.

The higher the pressure the less rolling resistance.

But check if your tyres can handle high pressure's

high PSI also mean substantially higher wear and tear on the threads of the tyres in the middle...

Yeah you will find you willl wear out the inside of the tyre in no time!

Gosh, 55 is pretty brave! the amount of pressure inside the tire on a hot day and fast driving, you'll probably hit 60psi... Man, you've got some wicked tires to take that much pressure. you sure you still go grip? And I don't even want to imagine how you corner in the wet...
