not sure if this is in the right location but i'm curious if any of you guys know somewhere in melb that will re-chrome the reflectors for a TS?

pulled mine apart last night to give the glass a cut / polish and found that the chrome is flaking
i know i can get new ones if i have to but would like to get the ones i have re-done for a side project :cool:

You can still find some headlights that are in good nick...

have done the ring around at the wreckers and they want $70+ each for em
there is a brand new repro set on ebay for $150 inc postage
don't wanna pay $140 for a set that may be in similar cond to the ones i have

For $200-$250ish you can hunt down a set of parras that will never fog up

that's kinda why i don't wanna spend $150 on a set of 2nd hand reflectors

I sold mine for $20, in good condition. I'm sure there's be a few floating around here after all the para conversions going on.
Think I've seen the odd one going for about $20 each on ebay.

Definitely wouldn't be cost-effective to get your current ones revamped.

I would sell you my old ones but the chrome was flaked in them as well.

Ring up some engineering places and see if they can help you out with the chrome plating. It's pretty expensive though....

I have a set of normal headlights in my car that you can have lol
