RX8s are FAR from a small car. there were two of us in the back and two larger fellows in the front and not only did it move like it was being chased, but it had hectares of space! the only problem was getting in the back, was a bit of a squeeze, but once you're in, its all gravy baby! lol.

Its a small car....I've tried sitting in the back of one behind the drivers seat when dad had it in his driving position (which is the same as mine), and I wouldn't have been able to move for the whole trip. Hectares of space is what you have in a Caprice, or a Fair lane, not a RX-8.

To give you an idea of what I consider sufficient space for rear seat passengers, a 2nd gen is pretty much minimum. Any less and I couldn't sit comfortably behind a driver of my height.

Anyway, I don't want to argue whether a RX-8 should be considered a small car or not or whats sufficient space blah blah (like we tend to do a bit Ian lol), just stating my opinion, which atm probably couldn't be further from this threads topic :)
