hi guys... got a mate that has a TJ and got himself a set a lancer VRX mags... the problem is that the tyres on them are 195/50R16... and we believe they are 6" wide tyres... would a tyre 215/60R16 fit on these rims?? and would this set of rims with the 215/60R16 tyres fit on his TJ?? i believe there is someone out there that has lancer VRX rims on their 3rd gen right??

as an ex tyre fitter yes those tyres will fit on thos rims the rolling diam' is slighly larger tho. And im not to sure is the lancer and magna stud patern is the same..

That is the stock tyre size on a Verada which comes with a 16 x 6inch wide rim. However they are a very tall combination so your speedo will be out of whack, you may even experience rubbing against the wheel arch of the lancer. Also a cocopopz said not sure about the stud pattern, they probably are different.

have a slight feeling lancer VRX's have the 5 stud p[attern and normals have the 4 stud.

the tyre will fit yes, but be a bit wider. ur speedo will be out so ur best of re calibrating that, anddd yep lol.

just double check the stud patter, look on ther wheels if there is 5 holes, then they are 5x114.3 if there is four, it aint gna fit.

So in summary, the 215 x 60 x 16 tyres will fit on a 6" rim and are the correct size for a TJ.
