has anyone tried out any brake calliper covers.
i was just looking at eycatcher ( http://www.eycatchercalipercover.com) and was thinking about maybe getting some.
just wondering what peoples opinions are and if anyone else has tried these or any brake caliper covers.

I wouldn't put a barrier between my calipers and moving air... to me that seems like that would seriously hinder any possibility of passive cooling by the wind. Not a good idea, just spray your calipers.

There's only one thing worse than not having brembo's; pretending your single piston tiny ass stock brake is a brembo! :p

yeh, i would spray them if i was gonna do my brakes. i was just more curious about them as until today i had never heard of them so i was just getting some opinions.
what im thinking is to spray mine black then get a mitsubishi stensil and spray a white logo over the top.
just gotta find the time to do it now.

why waste the money just a can of BRAKE CALIPER PAINT which has a high heat resistance will do the trick as i have done:D

i've has oem brembos before and they were tiny ass single piston brakes, wold it be rice to dress them up? lol
dude the money wasted on that carp would be better spent on neons of Aqua cd's
or...... servicing your brakes so they work better, not look better
although i cant talk, i just sprayed my car with olive oil cooking spray to stop suspension squeaks (non magna) :bowrofl:

These can make ur brakes worse than they already are, simply because there isnt as much air passing over the calipers as before...As TZA said before, if you cant afford the real thing, or can't use a can of spray paint, just dont bother
Having said that this will match ur chrome hubcaps, stickytaped neons and cannon nicely

just realised i dont have room to spray a logo on.
my plan to spray them black then with a mitsubishi stensil spray white wont work.
eh. i will stay spray them black. eventually...
lol what next?
should make a fake engine cover like a gen3 engine out of a holden, and put it on a magna motor.

I just realised something even more stupid about these.....the covers make ur brakes look like "eye catcher" brand brakes...thats even more stupid. The people who know nothing about cars/think adding a cannon is an extreme mod will think your brakes look good whether you've got a piece of plastic covering them, or if u just paint ur calipers (which is the safer method). The people who actually know what a big brake setup looks like will just point and laugh

My stepdad bought some brake caliper paint for $10 the other day and it worked fine on his and mums cars.
