Hi all.
Well, I have a TJ AWD and i think i've fried the ECU or something to that effect. every time i turn the car off the ECU restarts itself so takes ages to start the car and it has to relearn all the stuff, plus i lost all central AND remote locking and have no interior lighting...and it all happened at once. Has anyone had this experience or know wat it is coz it has me beat lol.

Cheers, Paulie.

relax man, it's not going to cost you thousands! lol

it's a fuse! open the fusebox in the engine bay and have a look at the 2 lil fuses surrounded by the yellow plastic isolator thingy

your battery may also be on the way out
but yeah as andrewd said it might just be a fuse

I tried to get those fuses out but the yellow surround holds them in...how do i take that surround off without cutting it off lol?

the yellow bit lifts up disconnecting the fuses, then gently push it back down, i used needle nose pliers to yank mine out

i was about to have a heart attack the day i accidently stuffed them.... no centeral locking car wouldnt go dash instrumnets haywire and lots lots more.... all due to a damn fuse....
